I'm planning on getting a tank that has been saltwater for a few years and now i would like to change it to freshwater. I just would like to know if it would be safe to ONLY rinse the tank with water... of course i will have to do it a few times. Will this be safe enough?
I really don't want to use any other chemicals just in case i don't rinse out the chemicals completely.

Yeah that will be fine. Most FW fish can tolerate small amounts of salt.
Really?? Yeah, i know that FW fish can tolerate small amounts of "Aquarium salt for Freshwater" But can FW fish tolerate the salt that is made for Saltwater??
