Last Week I Bought A Breeding Pair Of Pink Convicts And Added Them To My 10 Gallon Tank. Today I Decided To Put Them In A Bigger Tank. I Noticed That The Male Is Chasing The Female And The Female Is Staying At The Top Left Hand Corner Of The Tank. What Should I Do?

This Is A Pic Of The Female

Don't separate them that will break their bond and likely cause more problems leave her there and give him some targets to take out his aggression on right now he's trying to establish a territory cause of the new tank.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do, but I have certainly lost more than my fair share of females due to aggression in a new tank...

Or even the same tank when it's too small.

Like I said he might not recognize her cause of the move and is trying to establish a territory in the new tank. This has happened to me with my last pair of convicts. They fraught for a few hours then it was back to normal. They need time and separate territories with in the tank.

I had a bonded pair of Lake Nicaragua cons that spawned multiple times in a divided 40 breeder. I moved them to their own 29 and the female was dead before morning.

To the OP, how big is the new tank?

They weren't very well bonded if they are divided plus the move just added more to it.

Add a divider...a piece of light diffuser (egg crate) would be perfect and allow them to see each other but keep her from getting killed.

Once she's able to heal up a bit and settle down, they'll breed through the divider.

The main issue is that it's a 10g - way too small...
