Convict and jewel pairs in 55

I have a 3" convict pair and found a jewel pair for sale. I was hoping I would be able to get the pair and put it in with my cons. These are BOTH BREEDING PAIRS. Will this work I'm my 55. And do I need dithers.

I had another thread like this but not sure what happened to it so I made a new one.
