Convict and tiger barb tank mates?

I have 1 convict/ 8 tiger barbs/ and 1 bristle nose anything Else i could add or should I leave it as it is in a 55

I don't feel comfortable with silver dollars in a 55 mainly because they grow a little bit bigger and they school so they need more space in my opinion

I've never kept any sort of African cichlids that would be cool thank you

If you are wanting in different fish, look at a live barer like Molly's, Platys or swordtails.

How long has the Convict been in the 55 gallon by itself? I personally wouldn't add any more Cichlids but like the livebearer suggestion made by Jexnell .
