My convicts just had babies and I don't know what to do with them! There are about 60 of them. I am looking for what i should ask for them or if any one wants any. The parents just laid a second batch of eggs.

*I am also looking for any other different strains of convict fry if someone wants to trade.*

Congratulations on the fry!

My honest opinion, cheap. BC's are, to me, the guppies of the cichlid world. There is always a surplus of BC babies floating around. At least were I live. That's just my opinion.

Post some pics of the parents.

Yeah I always see fry at my LFS. But congrats on the fry! Breeding is always neat.:clap

My BC and my Carpintis are paired off. Those babies should look interesting. If and when they do make fry, they will be used as food. That carpintis is meant for bigger and better things.

Convicts will mate with practically anything. Just make sure that if you do create a BC hybrid that if you sell any, whether it be to a hobbiest or LFS, you let them know it's a hybrid. Even if it doesn't end up looking any different. Actually, better yet, don't sell to any LFS. Or do whatever you want..

Nice parents by the way.

Is there anything that i can mix with convicts that would make a nice hybrid.

Not really, except a Motoro stingray. They will breed, I promise lol

To tell you the truth, I think doing what you want to do is playing god. Just my 2 cents

I don't think i am going to keep all of the fry. If you are in the area and want to pick some up you are welcome. I just found a second batch of wigglers yesterday. So I need to get rid of a few of the babies.
