Live Aquaria says that Pink Convics are expert care level while Black Cons are Beginner/Moderate...What?

convicts ina right size tank with proper tank mates arent hard to keep .

I think the "Care level" things is crap. My jewel cichlid gets the same care as my Stingray. High quality food and lots of water changes.

i agree what exactly do they mean by care level? dont fish need food and good water?

It is a company's way of saying "this fish can tolerate horrible water conditions and mistreatment a little longer than most"

Or it could be a companies way of saying this fish need stringent water conditions that cannot vary what so ever, such as for discus.

no fish deserves to be kept in bad conditions, why encourage it in the way they are labeled? if the fish is an f0 altum or something delicate it should just say so for that fish, but they shouldn't make it seem a convict or a goldfish can be kept in a tank with one yearly water change just because they have the ability to not die of the buildup of nitrates, ammonia, etc

well for neon tetras care level says easy which in my opinion neon tetras are more delicate than convict. so i dont rly know what thy are basing it on? i guess they mean its expert care level becuase of compatibility? tank requirements maybe?
