Hi i have 2 covict cicleds in a 55 gallon aquarium they have been atacking my redtail catifish and my 3 red bellyed pacu and i need them out could i put them in a ten gallon aquarium plz answer soon they have realy stresed out my rtc

Yes, but your other fish are going to be trouble in long run in a 55 gallon tank.

K im at a restrunt by a pet store will stop in and get some gravel for the ten gallon

No a 10 gallon is too small for 2 full grown convicts in my opinion. 20 Gallon would be better.

Have your convicts been breeding? That could be why they are attacking the other fish.

+1. You have more issues than a couple of mean Convicts. I hope you have a plan for those other fish. They are going to be huge. Best of luck to you.

the pacus can and will get up to 30 lbs. about 2.5 foot. catfish will get to about 4 foot so the catfish will and can get as long as your 55 is. so id get rid of the pacus and rtc. leave the cons in the 55 ( after you get rid of the rtc and pacus ) and the 10 will be small for the cons if it isnt already to small. how big are the cons?

Oh ya i know how big there going to get building a 5000 gallon pond for them right now so there set and these arnt full grown convicts well i thing there 2_3 inches long
