Convict Cichlid community

yeah good info, I'm going to try and see if i can find the thread a member made on here relatively recently; he had 4 or 5 big males in a 30-50 gallon or something, they were all just kind of chilling out
 
I remember seeing that. I think keeping just males or just females would be the best way to go for a community. Otherwise you would have an explosion of fry. There is a video on you tube with like 30 convicts in a 125. It is beyond crowded.

Yeah, there is no way I'm prepared for mixed sexes; just like the interaction between them without that factor :P
