I was planning to release some convict cichlids in my outdoor pond. I'm in SE asia but am 1500 m above sea level. temp probably goes down to about 60F during dec-feb. Can the convicts tolerate it? We've tried tilapia sub-adults before and they were able to tolerate the temp.

It's not more than a week since I've put my convicts to pond, they have already spawned. Now they are territorial and aggressive towards others..

It might survive. If the temp stays around high 60's . Mid 50's is too low they will die. After a few days.

Cons are hilarious. You should keep a predator in a tank and feed them CONS once a year as a treat!
