Hello Mfkers

today i found my male convict on the floor covered in ants.:eek:
But he was still alive but im wondering what can i do to help him. :(
so please post commet to what can do.
he was dried up
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry::cry:

i dont have an exact answer but maybe this will help. recently i had a salvini which someone got into one of the tank ornaments when i was cleaning. i took all the decor out and noticed he was missing. hes small so i assumed he had gotten eaten, but thought it was strange. then i hear a little rattle in the decor and sure enough hes in there and has been out of water for 20 to 30 minutes. to get him out of the ornament we pretty much had to pull him by the tail which resulted in most of the tail fins coming off. we got him in tank and added salt. he is now doing fine with the exception of not having much of a tail and is eating normally

Do you have any stress-coat? It, like salt, helps to add electrolytes and it will also help stimulate slime coat replacement from where the ants probably did a lot of damage.

I'm not sure how far gone the fish is, but I do hope it will help!
