my convicts are lying down and i know that they are not dead because they are breathing

what should i do?

I know I might sound like a broken record, but, what are your water parameters and what is the temperature?

all of them are lying down

If your convicts have no color to them,then they're stressed out.I recommend a Test kit today,instead of waiting.Temps should range around 78 to 82 degrees to be honest,that is why how I have mine set up for temps.

One time all my RBP were lying down and I realized that the water was freezing cold and my heater was busted.

#1 - get a test kit
#2 - If youve moved these convicts into that 55 you just got last week here, chances are it wasnt cycled properly.

Mine normally only do this when the water is cooler but it could still be something else and they could even be taking a nap as mine do sometimes unless you are talking about they have been like this for most of the day.

Check your water parameters, your water may not be stable. If you dont have a test kit take a water sample to your nearest LFS.
