Convict cichlid

Went to a LFS today and they are selling a 5" convict for 39.99. Has anyone ever heard or seen a convict selling for this much I know I haven't

Alot of stores and it happens to me all the time assume the bigger fish no matter how common, means the higher the price. I hate it when they do that as sometimes its a fish that they got in small for cheap and has just grown from not being bought so they boost the price. But thats a ridiculous price for a convict.
