Very small indeed. I thought about it when I received them but didn't pay attention because the guy I got them from said one was a female and a male and mentioned that they will find each other. Hahahaha.. they sure did!
Hmm maybe the JD since they grow so slow. I'm down in SD though, I only head to oc and very rarely la for family stuff. I will be upgrading to a 125-200 sometime this week depending on if the craigslist people get back to me. Flaky flakes.
Convicts are funny they will spawn when nothing else will. I once bought a male and female convict out of a tank full of convicts at random they where not a pair. I brought them home put them in a tank, two days later they spawned.

The guy I got them from already told me that they were a pair so it's kind of a good thing in a sense. Maybe I'll use the fry as some kind of trade in deal with PetCo. I'm going to need to re-house them once they get bigger. I was reading that they do take care of their young until they start spawning again then they'll start eating them. Dang, I got no more room for any more fish! Hahahaha
