picked up 4 cons same time, i think a female has shown, the big male was extraaggresive towards the 2 of them, but not as much towards the smallest? the one i suspect is the female has very liitle finnage, where as the male has flowing fins, i also think i noticed some red speckles on the smaller ones body? i removed the other 2 suspect males, but now its seems shes leary of the big guy, shes kinda resoretd to up by the filter, and hes busy moving rocks in his little cave, coming out to give chase a bit.. any input would help me understand this cycle, ive included some pics of the pair?

Sounds like typical convict breeding. However due to the males size advantage he may kill her. If a pair is the same sie, chances are there will be less aggression. Females have a gold stomach. Fin shortage is fine.
