yes but why u want to do so ??? the hybrid will be bad as convict genes is very strong and it will get u just a pearly convict .. !! i did it once and it was not a good cross !
No it isn't. If you don't have a remote idea as to how to make a Parrot cichlid, don't talk. If you don't want to see a parrot cichlid, then don't go on these threads. If you have NOTHING to contribute then don't say anything. It's simple.

i have a similar situation to yours. except the gender of mine are reversed. i am sure they will try breeding. i just received a small male pink convict, maybe about 2 inches or so, and a 3 year old male blood parrot from a buddy of mine. i gave him a few of my JD babies in return. Anyways, i put the convict with my texas who is the same size as the convict and they are paired up now. the texas is looking to lay eggs. does anyone have any idea what it may come out like with a pink convict male and a green texas female?
