BBA51ABF-613D-41B7-8ED1-F2ACB418B6D5.jpeg I was very happy that my most beautiful and largest convict female laid eggs. She has been very protective and all seemed well last night. This morning she is still in the nest but alas the eggs are not. Did she eat them? She has been very aggressive towards any other fish , which include smaller convicts and loaches. It is a 220l tank with 12 small fish in total ( 4 loaches, 8 convicts but she is the biggest by far) .
So the eggs are gone. I wonder why, and if I should have put them in another tank if this will be their fate.

That’s what I thought .
The good news is that I have found more!
They are in the centre back, guarded by a romantic couple. I don’t think they are as vicious as this female was but they are protective. The area is spacey, so the loaches will have no trouble getting in.
What I would like to do is either:
A) remove terracotta pot with those brown eggs to a net basket hanging in the tank
Or
B) remove terracotta pot with eggs and also parents to a 75 litre / 20 gallon tank which I can set up today with water from the main tank or fresh water
What do you think?

Second option is much better

I found more! I would like to move them to a better hanging basket. They are in another terracotta pot, so the whole pot will go in. I suppose I should give their poor parents a chance but those loaches ....
