should i seperate the fry or leave them there. also right after my femal convict laid eggs she started beating the male up now he is in a corner and hes not eating anymore b/c of the female always biting him when she sees him

The convicts will take care of their babies, so you don't need to take the eggs out. In fact, I think the fry will grow stronger and faster if left with the parents.
You might need to take the male out though. I had a female that always chased the male away after she laid eggs. She raised them just fine on her own.

Once they become free swimmers, you could move them to a tank of their own.

My female did the same as well. My fry just hatched about 4 days ago, and the female beat up the male. I ended up taking him out and nursing him back to health before moving him to the main tank again.
