Convict fry growth rate

I'm breeding convict right now. How long will it take the fry to reach 1" provided average conditions(tank size, food, filtration, etc).

Convict fry grow slow. With I had my pair i think it took the fry like 3-4months at least to get 1".I fed them like 5times a day l.A friend of mine has the largest male out of my last spawn i think he is like 4-5" and like 3 years old.
