Convict fry in the Nursery

Okay; so you all ask. He aint got no adult Convicts, where did all the dang fry come from... ?

So here goes...
stoped at the local branch of a national chain store tonight..

There was a tank that had 15~20 con fry.. they had removed the parents & the others in the tank, so just the fry were there..

the fish dude asked if he could help me... I said, too bad your company won't sell its own fry, there a bunch of free money in there.

he says ... well as soon as someone who knows what they are doing asks, we will let them adopt them...

well you all know where that went....

That is awesome, enjoy your new fish. It is pretty easy to get free fish from chain stores, they never want to deal with anything that requires work.

It just seems strange that they would go to the trouble of removing the adults, just to spend another 20 minutes catching them to give them away.

Why not just let them fend or be lunch?
