I have a breeding pair of convicts in my 29g tank. I moved about 12 fry into a 5g tank. My convicts have bred about 4 times before and no fry have ever survived so I thought I would move them to a new tank to see what happens.
My question is: will the fry survive without any additional care in the 5g? They are about the size of a rice grain. The 5g has lots of algae, frogbit and a big clump of java moss. Will they find enough food in the tank without me doing anything special?
I am trying to grow them big enough to be feeders.
