convict fry

about a week ago my convicts eggs disapeared i assumed they ate them, since i hadnt seen any wigglers. last night i was getting ready to do a w/c and when i picked up there cave there was atleast a hundred tiny fry in it.
i placed the cave back but most of them had be dumped on the other side of the tank, they moved the others to the opposite corner and they are all ot in the open. question is will they be ok since i disturbed them and they are not in some type of shelter?

personally reckon they will be fine,
trying to stop the buggers breeding is the problem with convicts lol.

Yeah, I done the exact same thing...I had babies about a week ago; pretty soon, they will start to swim by themselves and will be all over the place.

yip they will be ok, they are like rabbits and convicts are pretty good parents in my experience they wil move the babies themselves

just stick 2 in a glass with a rock ezer to controle......
i hate convicts. my convicts have babies 1 to 2 months
ur fry can have babies at 1"-1.5" i gona get rid of them
im going insane

they will be fine! When you couldnt see them before the parents could have had them in thier mouth at the time. THey pick the babies up and move them in and out of their shelter to eat and so on. But yeah they are okay.
