Convict getting bullied

Him being a male cichlid I find it odd that the semi aggressive RTBS keeps him on the top behind the input nozzle any ideas why he's not fighting back?

Might be acclimating if he's new to the tank, put a female in there and all hell breaks lose...

Give it it's own little hiding place, once a con has a cave to defend they usually start standing up for themselves

The RTBS was in tank first and convict was added almost 4 mouths ago they all hung out under the driftwood until the BGK just went crazy and booted everybody except his CL buddies out the RTBS is almost fully grown and convict is a little smaller by about in inch but they are more compact as in wider rather than longer when I move the tube he will jet down to the bottom with a very dark color to him almost pitch black I know from stress

I've had mature RTBS (red tailed black shark) in the past and they can be quite territorial. I'd rearrange the tank to have them all re-establish territories.
