I have two pairs, I can only tell the males apart by the irregular caudal fins. I can't tell the females apart at all. One pair just spawned and this female looks like she wants too. Not too shabby for .99 cents each.

Very good pictures and pretty females, too! Male looks like he eats bricks for breakfast.

I bought them as dithers for my midas, now they push him around when breeding.

They went from 1" to 5" and the midas has gone from 6" to 6"...

I've considered getting rid of them but at less than a year old I really want to grow them out more.

If you need to get rid of them and are planning any trips to Wa, I'd love to have a pair! I just can't cover shipping :( . But I could drive a few miles and give you a few bucks if you wanted. Are they siblings, then?

Yeah, I'm assuming they're all siblings. I head to Washington all the time, but never very far north. Farthest north I go is Enumclaw. If I get rid of them I'll let you know, it really depends on if my midas starts eating well or not.

I'm using a Nikon D60.

They are all nice and pretty cool looking. When I saw you posted I was going to ask about the midas, am glad you still have it. Mine acts the same way, very pciky, and I think about getting rid of him but just cant yet. Hope he changes his act for you

Nice pics MM. It seems they've morphed into some chunky monkeys. :D

Careful, I lost a beloved Jaguar once to a breeding convict biting his eye out. It got all infected and big like a bloody golfball. Man was it was naaaaaasssty.
