Convict growth??

What is the growth rate of Convicts??Thanks.

They are moderate-slow growers. Generally. For females especially, and if they are breeding, forget it. My female who has spawned 4 times is in a tank now with her daughter of 3 months. She is almost as big as her mother! But the males grow pretty rapidly, then they plateau off, and remain at the same rate for quite awhile. But it really depends on how you care for them, water quality, and what kind of food you use.

Nice looking Convicts,i have had all kinds of cichlids but convicts remain one of my favorites.

Thanks. Yea I love convicts, they remain pretty small, but have huge personalities!
