Convict growth

I just bought a 1" male convict. How long will it take for him grow to adult size? What foods should I feed for faster growth?

You never want to feed for abnormally fast growth. food isnt the main factor in fish growth its health, space and water changes. my experience convict will reach 3"+ in 1 year and can reach 6" in 2 years. just try good varied diet and quality staple pellet.

Pristine water, good quality food and space always worked for me.

False, I had one breed at .75" - yes that's only 3/4 of an inch!
