i got a small pond around 250-300 gallons. i got a few koi and comets, a 6" albino channel cat and an albino pleco around 3-4". we recently tore down the 29 convict tank and i'm holding the male convict in a spare 15g in the back room at work. is there any problem with taking him home and sticking him in the pond? i'll take him out when the water starts getting cold. i have a crap load of guppies in the pond i want him to eat, plus it will give him the oppertunity to grow a lil. i plan on setting up the 29 again during the winter for the two catfish and the con. any imput welcomed. also, at what temp should he be removed. i was told 60 is the lowest temp they can handle.

should be ok but the channel cat may try and snack on him lol

Should be fine but you'll find they grow a lot in an outdoor pond...when winter comes they may not fit in the 29 :)

the channel cat wont even eat the guppies or little comets. the con is too big for his mouth. i want him to grow ALOT.

I have a Albino Female Convict that lives in a small outdoor pond with Koi, Goldfish, Guppies, and Plecos. Never had any problems with her.
