Iv had my 2 Cons for a month or so now, they are a pair. They spawned a few weeks ago and the fry hatched and living but lately iv noticed the males color keeps fading then come back, the black stripes im talking about. Im kinda thinkin maybe stress but he was fine before, i havent changed anything im doin as far as water changes or food. The female is always looking good. He will hav nice color for abit then he will go 70% white. Any help is appreciated!

Yeah it happens when they are about to spawn. They get super colorful by then...You might have babies soon!
what are your water params? and is anything messing with him? if water if good and no bully then yeah its just mood changes and maybe wanting to spawn again if there first babies are a little bigger already
