I posted yesterday about my convict laying eggs. Its been about 5 days and they still havent hatched.
The female convict has mated with my electric blue jack dempsey.
I put them in a bredding net and when I went to bed last night they were going really brown.
I woke up this morning and there were a good lot of the eggs missing? I have no idea how this has happened unless the net has fallen slightly into the water and they have swam out during the night? but it didnt look like it had moved at all.
Its doing my head in.
They are still a fair amount in the net that are dark brown but some are getting lighter which Im guessing means they are dying?
Any thoughts?
