convict male/female ID please

hi just got these 2 a day ago. the guy at the LFS said he believes 1 is male and 1 is female but sounded unsure i just want to verify here. they are both about 2.5" each.

pic 1 & 2 is the same con. and pic 3 & 4 is the other one.
if it helps the one in pic 3 & 4 chases the other one around.

It looks like he was correct. Pics 3 and 4 look female but a better pic is needed for 100% gender verification. And pics 1 and 2 look 100% male.

Describe the females colors....Is her belly really that yellow in person or is there some kind of glare going on? The male is a male, But I am not sure they are all convict. They are either 1. both males 2. The lighting is strange 3. Honduran red points or sajica 4. The look nothing like the 2.5 million cons I have bread myself.....Keepers for sure..Keep us posted....

if they arent cons, would they still breed as frequent?

They either have con in them or are 100% archocentrus of some sort. The female will "chase" the male to feel him out. He must be bold but not to bold (no diff than us) And then my friend you have a pair. Sounds like they like each other...(I feel like the fish whisperer right now)
