Why do my 2 male convicts look diff?

male 1 has rounded face and different body shape. Bought at petsmart





this male has a pointed face just like the 3 females i bought along with him from LFS.Also his 3rd bar has a patch missing just like the 3 females with him

usally lfs have f1 f2 fish while stores like petsmart petco ect have aquarium raised fish from genaration to genaration and that chnges looks in the fish

round face has full bars tho as where pointed face is missing a patch on the 3rd bar. find that kinda odd tho. youd think inbred round face would have the patch missing

inbreeding causes a lot of deformities in shapes and colors...

Honduran redpoints have the 3rd bar missing. so is it really unreasonable that it could occur naturally in convicts? I've seen convicts with or without a 3rd bar I just think its random genes.

I. Had a wild caught convict with that strip missing so its natural and the round face does look tank raised so I would say inbred also on round face over their

heres my wild caught male that i use to have awhile back male was 6in

maybe so.....maybe not as far as inbreeding. Now and days the cons been so messed up from inbreeding but i have some what the same thing going on here but its not the face thing...its the length. I have four males thats being housed in my 125gl with other sa/ca cichlids but all was brought at the same place/time and 3 of the males are short and bulky and the other male is longer...way longer and he's now almost 7".When i first got them,they was 2" and 4 months later he's damn near 7".
