IMG_4842.PNG IMG_4842.PNG So I bought a convict about a month or so ago and recently she has been showing some strange colors I haven't seen before. Her fins have a lot of blue and her stripes rapidly change color from deep solid black bars to barely visible bars with distinct dots on her side within a few seconds. I'm wondering if maybe this is a hybrid? Or expresses some form of marble gene from a breeding experiment? Maybe both? What do you guys think?

My females do the same thing when they are looking to lay eggs. They get beautiful then become murder machines for a bit..

Beautiful display of colors normally when ready to breed or dominance.
