Convict sick....

There is somthing wrong with my Convict. He is in a 30G with some Tiger barbs and a BN Pleco...
He is twitching, and rubbing on rocks in a very chaotic fashion. The skin around his nostril seems to have come off.

I do not have a test kit atm, does anyone know what could be wrong?
Today around noon I preformed a 30% WC.
I added Anti-parasite and Melafix hopfully to help.

What would be the best treatment for this?

Bump temp to 85 and add aquarium salt.

Sounds like a parasitic infection to me. You should be ok if you added good meds. I think jungle parasite cure is the most reccomended on this site. Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get any worse.

Thanks for the quick responsis. Should I do a wc everyday for the next couple days?
