i was wondering how soon after a female convict has spawned can she be ready to spawn again.
my convict pair had just spawned when my male bristlenose who was in a container floating on the top of the tank jumped ship and ate all the eggs, my male seemed to loose interest with the female and looked like he was going to pair up with another female but he is back with the original female in the flower pot and they look like they are ready to spawn again but it's only been a week since the last spawn :)

My female used to lay eggs every 3 weeks. My male I noticed takes great care in nest building and usually spends 2-3 weeks building a nest.
X2

If your water parameters are in check they'll spawn faster, usually 3-4 week for me.
It also helps to feed them live foods(not feeder goldfish) in between pellets, adding cooler water when doing WC's.(no more than 2 degrees).
It simulates rain, they think it feels like rainy season.

About an hour and a half ;)
