Hey guys I just fed my fish and my jag gabbed my convict instead of the pellets lol. I don't really have a big issue with that but she doesn't seem 2 be getting it any further down or be able to spit him out..
It's been about 20mins. My question is do I get help him get it out or just let it go for now??

mine has done that before it takes a while for it, but if it is stuck and it cant go down if had to pull stuff out o my males mouth before i picked him up and took a pair of needle nose to it.

Ok thanks.. He didn't look to stressed about the whole situation so I've given him until I get home from work to have it down or I think il have to try n pull it out or cut it up for him..
Have never fed him feeder fish and has been with the convict for months and shown no interest in him. Was a surprise to see him do it but kinds cool lol

I think you should be fine, my female jag tried eating a rubbernose pleco that I had, she swam around with it in her mouth for about 8 hours, and then spit out a headless pleco.

It's amazing some of the things they try and a lot of the time successfully fit in their mouths..
I have another convict and a JD about the same size that I think would be very nervous ATM lol

Lol oh wow. So what's happened with the con? Did the jag swallow it it just eat what it could and spit out the rest?

Lol thats crazy. Atleast the jag didn't choke on it. Its amazing what cichlids can eat.
