Convict success

Hi guys just wondering if I could keep a single male convict in my tank with my three bichirs, black ghost knife and 2 small catfish, just I know convicts have a bit of a character about them and don't want any fighting lol

A single male or a single female will be ok assuming the tank size is appropriate. Lack of space and/or spawning trigger agression. Most cichlids ignore bottom dwellers but there is always exceptions that just mean pr*cks

You won't have any problems with a single male in that set up.

GL, Dave, hope he ends up whooping some butts. LOL, you know thats what gonna happen. My 3" Convict Males punk 6" cichlids all day. Well, thats because the bigger cichlids don't fall in the top 10 most aggressive list either.

Might buy a con for my tank just to show my aggressive parrots who's boss (not them)
