Hi all im having a bit of trouble with my convict aggresion i dont mind it but, my other fishies are going through hell because of it which are 2 tinfoil barbs ,and a parrot cichlid , Well i have 3 convicts the older isnt too aggresive , but the youngers ones i have , are going through like a hyper puppyfaze where they want to chase everything.

Now he is what i want to do, and correct me if im wrong, I have another tank 20g might be 29 not sure with a common goldfish, a sengal(growing out he is alil small, and a ralph catfish also trying to grow out, but should i move the 2 convicts over to the smaller tank and put the goldfish and sengal into my 55g ???
Im hoping that the 2 i have are a pair and will breed in the smaller tank, only because id like to use there fry as free food for my senegal, is that wrong should i not do that something has to die right whether it be bloodworms, or guppies why not free baby convicts which might be alil healther for them anyways let me know what you guys think.

if the senegal and goldfish are big enough to not get eaten by the older convict and the parrot cichlid then i would switch them, if they do breed they will be very aggressive towards the other fish, and using babies as feeders is fine there are alot of people on here who breed cons for this very purpose, im actually planning on breeding mollies for this reason, and theyr alot healthier than fatty goldfish from the petstore that can carry parasites, 20g might be a little to small if the pair starts fighting but if its 29g then the pair should do just fine in there
