Convict Tank Size

What is the tank size for 2 full grown convicts and also if they breed would they possibly take care of other fishes fry (ex guppy)

20 long would be minimum
but 30 is probably best strictly as a breeder

If your talking full grown convicts, male being 6"+ and the female being close to 5"(or both could be even bigger). I would say that you'll need a tank at least 3 foot in length. Also provide the female with plenty of hiding spots.

Ya they'll take care of any other fry that can fit in their mouth, but not in away that benefits the fry.

A 20g long would work, a 30g would be better. In these tanks however it would not be possable to growout the fry for very long, you should hav e a seperate rearing tank.

Well i was thinking of building a custom tank and it will be 30 gallons and what would eb better height or length
