As i was cleaning the tank the other day and re-arranging a few things, my male convict would circle around my arm and attack my arm...? i could feel his little mouth bit me. - He has one of the best personalities out of all my fish.
- Is this normal? Should i have something to watch out for?
It seems like anything i put in, or take out of my tank he likes to attack?
Feedback please!

may have a nest is he paired up with a female?

Sounds about right for a convict. Are your cons breeding right now? When convicts breed in my opinion they become the most aggressive cichlid you can find.

Normal behavior. He could be just defending his territory. If there is a female in the tank, he could also be defending some eggs or fry that you don't know about yet. Cons are tough little fish. Some even are glass bangers, funny but true.

Lol yea it was kinda funny when it happened. And yes i believe the other sex is a female because he is growing quicker than the other and the other con has a little hint of orange on her body...
He however has a hint of blue around his fins...

sounds like my oscar during water changes and just about anytime i put my fingers or arm in the tank... i think its one of my favorite parts about keeping cichlids, having the fearless ones that are willing to test out anything makes them fun, its like playing with a dog to me, only its a fish haha

If the female is sticking close to one portion of the tank, she could be guarding eggs. Usually one will guard the eggs/fry while the other patrols the tank for threats, such as a fish keeper's arm.
