Convict with Pbass?!

i have a 40g with a 3 - 4" monoc with a female Convict. during feeding today i noticed that on one of the decorations there were Eggs and the Female convict was guarding it. i don't know how it could have eggs with just a pbass and a convict. the eggs are dark brownish.

i need help! and what to set up for the eggs? the eggs are on a 1ft bridge

Post pics, I would buy a fry from you O.O. Congratz. Hope you get fry. Although i dont think its possible for them to be fertile.

female fish dont need a male to lay eggs, you wont get any fry from a pbass and a convict, and your 3-4" pbass isnt even sexually mature.
