Atm I have a 30Gallon with 1Salvini a M&F Convict the Convicts have been breeding but they cant defend aganst the Salvini So the Salvini just eats the eggs. So here is my question i was wondering if i could put the Female in a 10Gallon and introduce the male every couple weeks or do i need a 20G??
Would this work?

Why dont you put the salvini in the 20 and leave the convicts in the 30?

You need a bigger tank for the salvini though.

do the oposite put the convicts in a 20 gallon and keep the salvini in 30 they get bigger faster you could breed a pair of convicts in a 20 gallon and keep them there for a while an adult breeding pair only needs around 30 gallons so a young pair would be more then happy
