Convicts as feeders for bichirs?

I have a senegal bichir, about 9 inches long; he is an adult. If I manage to breed convicts, could I use them as feeders? How big should they be as feeders for my bichir? Thanks.

maybe 1/4-1/2". how big is the bichir. My 5" bichirs would eat 1/4" guppy fry, but the 9" lapradei didn't even bother smelling them

yes you can.
you can feed convicts even at 2 inchs long.
(a bit risky though.)
cons have a bit of a high body so smaller is better.
