Use punctuation marks to make your statement read more clearly. It's hard to understand what you are asking. But I think I get it. Do not place a breeding pair of Cons in a small tank with much smaller tankmates. They have a great chance of being killed or injured. Breeding Cons have even been known to harass much larger tankmates. If you value your Festae and Mota, give them a safer place to live and grow.

Still confused...

Why don't you do this: list tank size and fish in them first then tell us what you want to do.

Okay for a grow out...introduction of a smaller fish is always risky..heavily feed the fish, turn the lights off, and cross your fingers.

Be aware that a 55 gallon is good for one GT fully grown. Be prepared to get a larger tank.
