About a hundred of them on the underside of a rock. Can I go ahead and remove the rock to a 10 gallon with the parents? Or will the baby fish survive on their own?

they will thrive with the parents, and likely die without them. My convict fry are currently 3 weeks old and have been with their parents since day 1 doing great. Their first brood died because I seperated them, so I wouldn't suggest it. Convicts are awesome parents, its really fun to watch them heard them up in their mouths and keep them where they think its safe. Enjoy the process =]
