I have several sectioned store tanks with each 4-section tier holds 80+ gals and each section is plumbed for W/D filtration. I was using them as fry growout bins but, have decided to try something a little different.
I'm getting different strains of 'convict' cichlids (Cryptoheros sp.) and will be spawning them for S&G and feeders. I'm just not going to get the run-of-the-mill convicts everyone is used to seeing. So far, I have Honduran Red Points and a new species (new to me, anyway) I just received called Cryptoheros spilurus.

Nice patterning on them!

I had red points breed with regular cons before. They were pretty nice looking(colorful cons!). I heard about those new ones a few weeks ago. They look nice.

Nice.. All we have around here anymore is hondurans :) but the other is new to me too :) Beautiful fish :) Nice find :)
