I have 2 Convicts in a tank with a Blue Gourami, I also have three snails, no idea what they are. One has a blue shell another has a yellow shell with greenish lines on it and the other is mostly brown. What size of a tank should I use for the three fish and three snails. Right now they are in a 10 but I am not positive if I should get a 20L or something a little bit larger. Any help would be appreciated.

10g is too small in my opinion, 20g or 29g would be better choice. If you're looking to upgrade I would suggest getting the largest tank you can afford. It would make things a lot easier down the road just in case you might want to add more fishes or something.

^^ :iagree:. 2 Convicts need at least 30G, and even then a breeding pair can still make a hell of a lot of trouble. As mentioned above, go for the largest you can fit. Because down the track your are most likely going to want to add more fish.

i just bought 3 yesterday for my 29 gallon and seems like 2 paired up and giving the 3rd guy hell. so i'd say a mating pair in a 29 gallon will work.
