CONVICTS?

Have you guys ever experienced smaller convicts eating other fish?
I have small female around the size of a quarter that is being bullied .
I was thinking of putting her with my grow outs
currently in there are at least 50 half inch jag babies.
Are convicts known for eating other fish?

Yes, like any cichlid. If a convict can fit the smaller fish in its mouth, it will most likely try to eat it at some point.

The only exception to that would be parents and thier fry, parents will not eat thier own fry, until they are ready to spawn again.

So far I have kept a 2 1/2 male convict and a quarter size female
convict in my grow tank. Full of Jaguar cichlid and flowerhorn fry.
All the fry are less then 1/2 inch.

Oh yes, for sure they will eat other fish. I have convicts and they will eat anything that fits in their mouth.
