Well, I have a pink male convict, maybe 3 or so inches. I'm not sure but i have pretty good feeling its a hybrid or something, it looks EXCATLY like a blood parrot except its mouth can open and close. If I breed that with a regular convict female, anyone think of any results?

You might actually have a typical short body convict, which is just a convict with the short body trait. Iirc it's just an usual recessive trait, which means that if you breed it with the 'normal' convict you'd get either all 'normal' convicts, assuming the normal convict it is breeding with is homozygous for both stripes and 'normal' body. If it is heterozygous for both pink body and short body, you'd get 1/4th 'normal', 1/4th short body, 1/4th pink and 1/4th pink + short body.

If the mate is het for short body then you'd get half 'normal', half short body.
If the mate is het fot pink then you'd get half 'normal, half pink.

Should be right I think. Sorry I'm drunk so I might have made a mistake, but it should be right.
