hey guys i just set up my 40 g tank with 3 convicts .. 1m 2 f .. i was wondering at what size should i feed the fry to my oscars and eels in my 150g tank
 
my one oscar is i woukd say about 5in .. my fire eel is still small same with my pea eel . i also have a baby oscar

A 5" Oscar will definitely eat fry, the eel probably will at any size as well. If you drop a bunch of fry in the 150, I kind of doubt they will get 100% eaten in that large tank, you will probably have a few survivors depending on how aggressive of an eater your O is. I'd say if you want them all to be eaten, drop them in a couple at a time only while the O is begging for food near the top of the tank.

ok thanks ... i also have what i believe to be an all white oscar but hes a baby maybe 1 inch and half

From what I have read you can't wait to long or you could have issues with the dorsal fins of the convicts hurting your O's while trying to eat them. Just what I have read no first hand experience tho.

Would be very cool if he is 100% white although I would say 1" is too early to tell if he will develop other coloration

I think that is what my son was going after when he picked out Toni, you can see I the first pic she has like 5 dots of orange, four months later she had a ton of orange. 20170608_092714.jpg 20170922_162647.jpg
 
yeah i can start to see the blavk fins outlined only ... will post a pic when im home .. and i think under a 1 in and i should drop them in
