First off i would like to introduce myself.
My name is brad i am the owner of Bradley Aquatics, majestic Aquatic, and Aquatic Transship.

I was breeding convicts on a large scale a few years back. convicts as you probably know are not hard at all to breed. i kept mine in a bare bottom tank tank with just a sponge filter and they bred on the Side of the glass, on the bottom of the glass, or on the silicone glue on the edes of the tank.

I hope this was atleast a little help to you.
Brad.

My Pink Convicts produce food for the rest of the tank as often as physically possible! I they breed more than Guppies, faster than Rabbits. My Convicts breed in my 200g tank on or next too dirftwood, the corner of the tank, this little bugger male picks up #5 river rock gravel piece by piece trying to make a nesting bed all day every day, used to uproot plants. And while the female is a little deformed and stunted they produce vaible eggs all the time and the Catfish just love them for doing so. I don't do anything special for them at all, they breed ok they don't ok, there eggs are just going to get eaten anyway. But the female is always half whitepink & pinkish-orange, and the male is crazy all the time - he even attemps to try an chase my 11" inch Redtail Gourami's.

i've seen people use old coffee cups (ceramic ones). having the handle i guess makes it easy to take it out and *deal* with the eggs if you don't want a crapload of babies every week.
