Cool african gecko- need ID

my friend found a bunch of these over in africa and asked me to identify them but I am stumped. maybe you guys can help:

That is what I thought too at first but they do not have those spikey scales. the closest I have been able to find was a diamond gecko (Hemidactylus tanganicus)
 
okay, yeah you are right, the only white spotted I had seen before were not full grown so they didnt have that scalation. thanks.
 
Looks more like a Taurentola sp croc gecko then a Hemidactylus to me
 
Hello:
The gecko in the picture is indeed a Bibron's Gecko (Pachydactylus bibroni). The species is widespread and fairly common. They do well in captivity and are inexpensive.
